Palawan emerged victorious in the Best Booth Award-Hallway category at the three-day Central Philippines Tourism Expo (CPTEx) 2024, held from July 19-21 in Puerto Princesa City.
The Palawan booth showcased exquisite handicrafts created by local artists and featured photographs of the province’s world-class tourism destinations. The booth’s design was a collaborative effort led by the Provincial Government’s Culture and Arts program, headed by Mr. Ceasar Sammy Magbanua, in partnership with the Provincial Tourism Promotions and Development Office (PTPDO).
El Nido also garnered recognition, winning the Best Marketing Booth Hallway Category, while Taytay was awarded Best LGU Booth.
The CPTEx 2024 saw participation from 58 exhibitors, including representatives from the regions of MIMAROPA, CALABARZON, Bicol, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, North Luzon, Mindanao, and other tourism stakeholders, making it a significant event for promoting regional tourism.
