14 vaccination sites in PPC for National Vaccination Days

The Puerto Princesa City COVID-19 Vaccination Council (PPC-COVAC) designated 14 vaccination sites for the upcoming National Vaccination Days on November 29, 30 and December 1, 2021.

The national government recently announced that they will conduct a 3-day nationwide vaccination against COVID-19 to significantly increase the number of vaccinated individuals.

Ten of the chosen vaccination sites will be carrying out inoculation of 12-year-old persons and above, two will be for pediatric vaccination, one for expectant mothers, and one for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

On the first day, City Coliseum, Robinsons Place Palawan, COOP Hospital, and SM City Puerto Princesa will be open to vaccinate from age 12-years-old and above. NCCC Mall Palawan will be exclusive to pregnant women and their immediate family members. Inagawan Sub Colonia, on the other hand, will be for PDLs. And Palawan National School will be giving jabs to 12 to 17-years-old accompanied by guardians or family members.

The second day will be for second doses only at the Mega Vaccination Site (City Coliseum) while Langogan (residents of Brgy. Langogan and Binduyan) will cater to 12-year-olds and above as well as Concepcion (Brgy. Tanabag, Concepcion, and San Rafael residents), Maruyugon (Brgy. Babuyan, Maruyugon, Maoyan, Lucbuan, and Manalo residents), and Macarascas (Brgy. Macarascas and Bahile residents).

And on the last day of the “Bayanihan Bakunahan”, City Coliseum will be open for second doses only. Inagawan Barrio (Brgy. Inagawan, Inagawan Sub, and Inagawan Barrio residents), as well as Mangingisda (Brgy. Mangingisda and Luzviminda residents), will be catering to 12-year-olds and above. And San Jose National High School will be for minors from ages 12 to 17 years old with family members to accompany them.

The 3-day national vaccination roll-out aims to increase partially/fully vaccinated individuals by 15 million, a 5 million per day target, in the country.
