The City Hall told tricycle owners and drivers to renew the franchises as early as possible to prevent inconvenience since the renewal of the mayor’s permit will only be until the end of the month.
Administrative Officer IV Rodelo M. Muñoz of the City’s Tricycyle Franchising Section said that as of the press time, only around 10% of the franchises have been renewed.
‘’Simula noong unang araw [hanggang pang apat na araw] meron palang po tayong 600 plus palang na nagpapa-inspection ng mga tricycle out of 6,250 [Registered Franchised Tricycle] … more or less ay 10% palang po ng may prankisadong may traysikel,’’ Muñoz said.
Muñoz emphasized that the schedule for the renewal of Mayor’s Permit will be strictly followed especially its cut-off date unless the Sangguniang Panlunsod will extend the deadline of renewal.
‘’Mag-renew ng maaga, para ang pasada ay di maabala,” Muñoz said.
The following documents are to be submitted: LTO Official Receipt (OR), LTO certificate of registration (CR), Barangay Clearance, Residence certificate (SEDULA), TODA/ Route Slip, Trike Clearance, CTMO/Traffic clearance, Certificate of Franchise, 2018 Receipt of Payment or Inspection / validation slip, and Tricycle unit/s for inspection.
