Nagkaruon ng bahagyang pagtaas ng naitalang insidente ng krimen sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa sa loob ng anim na buwan mula Marso 1 hanggang Setyembre 27 ngayong taon na umabot sa higit 377 na kaso. Ang nasabing bilang na ito ay nahigitan ang naitalang kaso noong taong 2022, na pumatong lang sa 347 simula sa mga nabanggit na buwan.

Sa isang media forum na pinagunahan ni PCol Ronie Bacuel, City Director ng PPCPO at ilan pang kawani at maging mamamahayag, ipinakita ng Puerto Princesa City Police Office ang mga datos na nagpapakita ng mas mataas na bilang ng krimen, partikular na ang mga kaso ng Rape na umabot sa 22, Theft na 17, Robbery na 17, Physical Injury na 10, Murder na 6, at Homicide na 2.

Ayon kay Police Colonel Bacuel, may sapat silang bilang ng mga pulis na patuloy na nagmamasid sa mga kalsada ng Puerto Princesa upang mapanatili ang kapayapaan at kaayusan sa lungsod.
