PALECO Board of Directors Chairman Jeffrey Tan-Endriga explained that the controversial billing payment guidelines posted over the cooperatives’ official Facebook page was not supposed to be implemented as it was just a proposal and that the board will release an updated guidelines.

In an interview with Palawan Daily, Endriga admitted that there was a miscommunication. The posted advisory, he clarified, was only a management proposal and has not been approved by the board.

He added that they immediately called the attention of PALECO management to recall the said advisory that brought confusion to the public.

He also said that they will release an updated and approved scheme after the board meeting including the sample computation for the public to understand.

This is more convenient which aims to help the member-consumers of PALECO with the payment of their electric bills.
