Puerto Princesa City Police Office Prepares for Ligtas Undas 2018

Puerto Princesa City Police Office (PPCPO) vowed to keep the city safe and secure on All Saint’s and All Soul’s Day as it launched “Ligtas Undas 2018” on October 31, 2018.

Police Superintendent Virgilio Madrionio, deputy city director for operations, said that they will face challenges but still believes that they will succeed with zero incident as the troops will be deployed to various cemeteries and tourist areas in the city.

“Starting today you will be deployed to a different cemetery, places of convergence and tourist areas in the city to ensure peace and order and public safety services into observance of yearly traditional celebrations of all Saint’s and all soul’s day,” Madrionio said.

“We may face challenges. But I do believe we will succeed in any situation and attain zero incidence in our resilient efforts with the support of the other agencies as well as the community,” he added.

After the opening remarks Police Senior Superintendent Ronnei Francis M. Cariaga, the city director, emphasized that they should be prepared for full alert status.

“You will be assigned to different task units. I want to make sure that you practice the account for full alert status.” Cariaga Said

“Anything could happen kung mag-rerelax tayo. May anim police sa isang cemetery, I just want to make sure na ung anim na yun a present kaya I will make the task force commander responsible.” He added.
