Banzuelo said there were 12 investors who earlier expressed confidence and pledged to invest in the city, amounting to a total of P27,580,000,000 committed capital.
However, she said they were still able to generate additional P1.3-billion worth of new investments as of December 12, months after the investment forum.
She said this total “P28.9-billion worth of investments” in the city is expected to generate these more than four thousand job opportunities that will start from the construction phase until the operation stage of the establishments.
“Your investment or their investment [is] our commitment,” she added.
