United States-based Luttenburg Technology expressed interest to help invest in the planned Pawikan International Convention Center Arena proposed in Sta. Lucia Environmental Estate, Barangay Sta. Lucia.
This project is among the iconic buildings envisioned by Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron for the city, along with the earlier planned Princesa Tower.
The 1,072 hectare environmental estate is currently under the management of the city government by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 718 series of 1996.
Other projects proposed within the estate are recreational facilities, water sports, golf course, hotels and resorts, retirement villages, Medical Tourism and University Township, IT hubs, Sta. Lucia hot spring, among others.
Dominic Notter, Manager of Matrix of Life Tech, LLC and a representative of Luttenburg Technology, was impressed with the project design and manifested their interest to help fund the project.
It is a stunning piece of art. Yeah! we and some of our funders will gonna participate to make this into reality. It is a time for us to make a statement in the world. This is our vision. This is our action and what we left to the next generation is what we choose to do now,” he said.
With the construction of these iconic buildings, Puerto Princesa will become more known all over the world, Nutter added.
