Acclaimed TV, Movie and Theater Actress/Singer Pinky Marquez is performing for one night of concert this coming March 20 at the Holiday Suites together with the newest boy band composed of two priests, 2 doctors and 2 lawyers all from Palawan.
The concert entitled, “From the heart; Sing and Dance with Ms. Pinky Marquez,” is a fund-raising show that will benefit sick and elderly priests of Palawan. It is a dinner concert with a ticket of P1500 per head.
The newly-formed “boy band” is now on rigid rehearsal with their repertoire of mostly Filipino songs. The band members are: Fr. Eugene Elivera, Fr.Tonton Almadrones, Dr.Paul Saludez, Dr.Wayne Tambal, Atty. Gerry Dilig and Atty. Bong Dilig.
Fr. Elivera said the concert will showcase them being the performer and musical directors through songs ranging from classic, ballad and mostly original Filipino music.
Their set is just a special participation because the highlight will remain to Ms. Pinky as the main star of the show. Bishop Socrates Mesiona will also have a special number.
“Manipis pa lang repertoire namin kasi newly formed pa lang, tsaka Ms.Pinky has the whole show, special participation lang kami,” Elivera said.
“From the Heart” is produced by Padi Y Ang Palawan Foundation, a special NGO group of lay ministers and volunteers that aims to help Palawan Priests in their sickly and old age, and to their retirement.
Tickets are now available at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Office, St. Joseph The Husband of Mary Parish Office, Shakey’s SM City Puerto Princesa & Rizal Avenue Branch, Midtown Sales and Padre Pio Clinic and Diagnostic Center.
