Wattah! Wattah! Basaan Festival!

A longtime tradition of St. John the Baptist feast known as “Wattah! Wattah! Basaan Festival” is literally dousing of water held yearly every 24th of June in San Juan City and other communities in the Philippines. On the 22nd of June, Puerto Princesa City will celebrate Wattah! Wattah! Festival with water wars at The Emerald Playa Resort & Eco-Park Palawan.

It is presented by Palawan Events in partnership with JCI Puerto Princesa Oil, Tanduay, Speedo, QuickShots Photos and Prints, Escubin Electronics, Sizzle Up Bar & Resto, Aztec Grounds Bar, Winston and official media partner, Palawan Daily News.

Partygoers and enthusiasts will experience one of a kind all-night celebration with music, food, and fashion plus fun at the beach with full-packed enticing and engaging activities such as Battle of the Bands, Beach fashion show, and Battle of the Bartenders and surprise performances. The event starts at 3 P.M. at the beach.

Ticket rates and inclusions are Php1000.00 with free one tower of beer or cocktails, Php500.00 with 2 complimentary cocktails, and Php300.00 for general admission entrance only.

Tickets are available starting June 7 and can be bought at Emerald Playa Resort & Eco-Park, Palawan Events, JCI Oil members and other partner establishments.

Schedules of audition for Battle of the Bands is on June 14 (Friday), 6 PM at Aztec Grounds Bar, and the Bar Tending Competition audition on June 15 (Saturday), 6 PM at Sizzle Up Bar & Resto.
