JCI Palawan region holds joint induction and turnover ceremony

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Palawan region composed of five local chapters JCI Puerto Princesa Oil, JCI Puerto Princesa Peacock, Inc, JCI Puerto Princesa Kiao Inc, JCI Narra Grains and JCI Roxas Casuy held a joint regional induction and turnover ceremony at Holiday Suites event hall, Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City, last February 26, 2022.

The 2022 Local Organization Presidents of JCI Palawan Region JCI Puerto Princesa Oil- Karl Dylan Aquino, JCI Puerto Princesa Peacock- Maria Alyssa Rocamora,  JCI Puerto Princesa Kiao- Kimberly Olano,  JCI Narra Grains- Crystal Diaz,  JCI Roxas Casuy- Blessy Ayco charged and inducted by 2022 Regional Vice President- Francisco III “Mackie” Baluyut and 2022 Area 3 Vice President Aira Pimentel together with their esteemed board of directors.

The event was graced by 2022 JCI Philippines National Board headed by National President John Glenn Lee, National Executive Vice President Jun Mondiguing, National Treasurer Kerby Salazar, and visiting chapters from other regions, guests, and families of newly inducted officers.  The City of Puerto Princesa’s first councilor Matthew Mendoza welcomed the guests and participants.

This year theme is “Pinoy festival” where the participants wore their best Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana. The Sining Palawan dance troupe showcased a 30-minute folk dance of the country to entertain and welcome guests and participants.

“Hats off to all the hardworking JCI members of Palawan region behind the success of the 2022 Joint Induction and Turnover Ceremony which truly emanates your selfless dedication and commitment to our beloved organization and welcome aboard to our new and promising young members,” said RVP Francisco “Mackie” Baluyut.

The valedictory speeches of outgoing (2021) local chapters Presidents and incoming (2022) local organization Presidents and inspiring messages from guest speaker NP John Glenn Lee completed the event.

JCI Philippines is a nonprofit organization of young active citizens aged 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating a positive impact in their communities.
