Alleged hacking of Landbank accounts resulted in a loss of P26,000 to P121,000, each, on teachers, declared by the Teachers’ Dignity Coalition (TDC) earlier today, January 24, 2022.
The amount declared lost as reported by teachers are from their regular salaries, holiday bonuses, up to their allotted lifetime savings.
TDC chair Benjo Basas exclaimed in a statement, noting that he has already informed the Department of Education (DepEd) about the issue.
TDC are urging their fellow teachers to report to the respective private sectors in line with the current flow of the same incidents.
As of the moment, there is still no official statement released by the said bank.
