PH administered a total of 35,995,813 COVID-19 vaccine doses

The Philippine national government has recorded a total of 35,995,813 doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered throughout the country as of September 6, 2021.

Of this total, 20,874,037 is the sum of the administered first dose, while 15,121,776 is the total number of second doses and single-dose vaccines.

Yesterday, 73,680 COVID-19 vaccine doses were given out as the first dose. And 88,662 as second dose and single-dose vaccine.

According to the National COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 384,252 is the average daily dose given in the last 7 days.

National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 Chief Implementer and Vaccine Czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. said on September 3 that the national government is aiming to vaccinate 20 million Filipinos by end of September.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 cases in the country continuously increase, with 159,633 new cases recorded as of September 6, 2021. Of these, 92.1% are mild, 3.3% asymptomatic, 1.4% severe, and 0.6% is critical.

Total recoveries are at 90.8% or 1,909,361 of those infected individuals and 1.63% or 34,337 death rate.

The overall total cases the country has recorded is now at 2,103,331.
