Quezon police operatives arrested a man wanted for 10 counts of rape over the weekend.
The suspect was identified as Aryel Laspeñas Alberto, 41, farmer and a resident of Sitio Parena, Barangay Tagusao of the said municipality where he was also arrested.
Police Major Lodell Lota, Quezon MPS Chief, said that Alberto was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Ramon Chito Mendoza of RTC Branch 165 in Brooke’s Point for the said case with no bail.
Suspect Alberto is now under the custody of Quezon Police and will be presented to the court of origin for proper disposition.
