Two drug suspects were nabbed in a joint buy-bust operation conducted by authorities from Brooke’s Point Municipal Police station and personnel from Philippine Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEA) on Tuesday, 1PM, at Jesmil Subdivision, Barangay Poblacion, Brookes Pt. Palawan.
Police identified the suspects as Norwena Abubasal Kiram, 39, married, and Ebraian Ubaldo Limbuan, 31, single, driver and a resident of Barangay Oring-Oring, Brookes Pt. Palawan.
Operatives were able to confiscate one plastic sachet containing two plastics with white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, one P500 bill as marked money, three units of cellphone, pieces of tiny rolled tissue, one tiny rolled foil, one small box and one piece used foil.
The poseur-buyer was able to buy one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
Both suspects are now under police custody. Cases in violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as Dangerous Drug Act 1972 are now being prepared by authorities for referral to the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Palawan.
