We all know what military professionalism is and what it really means once we have joined the profession of arms. As Christmas and New Year approaches, we shall obey the word of command where we must rise, march, run, endure bad weather; go without sleep or food, be isolated in some distant past, and work until we drop. We are working to keep everything in our country in place.

Christmas and New Year are closing and best celebrated with our friends and families. But for us in the military profession, we only get to choose either one holiday to spend with our friends and family or none at all, especially those deployed at different posts around the country. All they have are their selves to celebrate these holidays.

It is essential to value the time you have with your friends and family. Enjoy the moments and cherish them, because maybe someday you may also not be able to experience them again just like the men who took the profession of arms.
