The municipality of Coron celebrated as it declared 8 of its barangays drug-free on December 7, 2021.
In a social media post, the local government thanked its employees and their constituents for taking part in their campaign against drugs that led to the recognition of PDEA, PNP, DILG, and DOH of these barangays to be drug-free.
These barangays are Buenavista, Banuang Daan, Decalachao, San Nicolas, Poblacion 4, Lajala, Cabugao, Turda, and Borac.
The LGU also said that it will continue to work hard to clear all 23 of the barangays in Coron from illegal drugs.
