Croc kills man in Rizal

The dead body of Jomar Banggali, the 35-year-old victim of the crocodile attack in Brgy. Canipaan, Rizal, Palawan was found around 11:00 AM Friday, May 24 by his relatives.

The victim went missing after a crocodile attacked him around 5:00 PM on Thursday.

Anthony Lorenzo, Municipal Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) Head of Rizal, the crocodile bit the victim on the head.

“Patay na po, kinagat sa ulo,” Lorenzo told PDN in an phone interview.

The police are on the way to the location alongside the MDRRMO and the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) to investigate the incident.

“Papunta pa lang yung pulis, kaya lang inaantay pa kasi namin ‘yung mga taga-PCSD para isahang imbestigasyon kasi malayo-layo,” Lorenzo added.
