Teofilo S. Pilando Jr., Commission Chairman of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to study the possibility of extending the period of validity of certificate registration/professional license of all registered and licensed professionals under the regulation of the PRC from three (3) years to five (5) years.”
“With the coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) posing challenges in the delivery of mandated services of the PRC, giving the said professionals a 5-year guarantee on their right to exercise and practice a regulated professions will certainly be a great help to them to ease the difficulty in renewing Professional Identification Cards in this time of global health crisis.” base sa nakasaad sa resolusyon.
Samantala, sa parehong layunin ay inaprubahan din ang Resolution No. 223-21 na iniakda ni BM Acosta na may titulong “A Resolution urging Hon. Franz “Chicoy” E. Alvarez, 1st District Representative, Hon. Cyrille F. Abueg-Zaldivar, 2nd District Representative, and Hon. Gil A. Acosta, 3rd District Representative to create and introduce a bill extending the period of validity of certificate of registration/professionals from three (3) years to five (5) years.”
