The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (PDRRMO) together with the local MDRRMO conducted a Hazard, Vulnerability, and Capacity Assessment (HVCA) in Quezon, Palawan which started on November 8 and will end today, November 11, 2021.
The HVCA is a scientific study where the said department conducts and records data related to calamity and other dangers in particular to the area. It also includes the assessment of threats to people, livelihood, infrastructure and more.
Data gathered from the HVCA will provide a better Disaster Risk Management Planning and Programming by the PDRRMO and/or MDRRMO. It will also enhance preparations for disasters.
