26th Provincial Children’s Talent Contest, naging matagumpay

Matagumpay na naisakatuparan ng Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) ang 26th Provincial Children’s Talent Contest na ginanap noong ika-29 ng Nobyembre 29, sa VJR Hall ng gusaling kapitolyo.

Ito ay bilang pakikiisa ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Palawan sa pagdiriwang ng 30th National Children’s Month sa buwan ng Nobyembre na may temang “Kalusugan, Kaisipan at Kapakanan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan.”

 

Ang aktibidad ay nilahukan ng labing walong (18) mga bata na may edad 3 hanggang 5 taong gulang na pumapasok sa iba’t ibang Child Development Centers (CDC) mula sa siyam (9) na mga munisipyo sa lalawigan ng Palawan kabilang ang bayan ng Aborlan, Bataraza, Brooke’s Point, Narra, Roxas, San Vicente, Taytay, Rizal, at Quezon.

 

Ang patimpalak ay may dalawang kategorya, ito ay ang Singing Contest o paligsahan sa pag-awit at ang Draw and Tell kung saan ipinaliwanag ng mga kalahok ang kanilang mga iginuhit.

 

Para sa Singing Contest category, nakamit ni Lydia Lucinda M. Gonzalez mula sa bayan ng Roxas ang unang puwesto habang si Jiaan Arro D. Paraiso naman ng Narra ang nasa ikalawang puwesto at si Jellian Fatima T. Carabelle ng bayan ng Taytay ang nagkamit ng ikatlong puwesto.

 

Para naman sa Draw and Tell category, si Sheen Safiyyah T. Carabelle ng bayan ng Rizal ang nagkamit ng unang puwesto habang si Quin Cheasea Huiso ng San Vicente ang nasa ikalawang puwesto at si Mary Lyka D. Feria naman ng Aborlan ang nagkamit ng ikatlong puwesto.

 

Ang nagkamit ng 1st place sa dalawang kategoryang nabanggit ay kapwa tumanggap ng P8,000.00 na premyo at pagkakalooban ng scholarship mula sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa loob ng anim na taong pag-aaral sa elementarya. Samantala, ang nagkamit naman ng 2nd place ay kapwa tumanggap ng P7,000.00 habang ang 3rd place naman ay pinagkalooban ng P5,000.00. Ang mga hindi pinalad na magwagi ay pinagkalooban ng P2,700.00 bilang consolation prize.

 

Ayon kay Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Abigail D. Ablaña, layunin ng aktibidad na mapaunlad ang kamalayan ng Day Care pupils sa lalawigan at maipakita ang kanilang mga talento sa pamamagitan nang paglahok sa ganitong uri ng aktibidad. Hinihikayat din nito ang mga magulang na lalo pang pag-ibayuhin ang pag-aaruga sa kanilang mga anak at bigyang pansin ang kanilang kalusugan upang mas maging maayos ang kinabukasan ng mga ito.
