Despite of being busy due to the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, PNP Coron was able to conduct an operation and arrest the Number 2 Most Wanted Person in town, Sunday afternoon, April 19.

The suspect was identified as Renante Solomon Sison a.k.a. Ka Enteng, 57, a native of Sta. Cruz, Occidental Mindoro and currently residing at Brgy. Decalachao in Coron where he was arrested.

Police Major Thirz Starky Timbancaya, Coron Chief of Police told Palawan Daily that the suspect is the former chairman of Federation and Kabayan Action Group in his original place and allegedly a member of Hanz Kadampog Group which operates in Coron.

“May kaso ito way back August 18, 2017 wherein ako din ang COP ng Coron and pagbalik ko, pinag-aralan namin ang kaso at nag-file kami sa korte at paglabas ng warrant at sa tulong ng mga informant, kinasa agad namin ang operasyon kung saan nahuli naman natin ang suspek,” Timbancaya told Palawan Daily in an interview.

Based on initial report from PNP Coron, Sison was arrested for murder with a standing warrant of arrest issued by Judge Arnel Cezar of RTC Branch 163 of Coron dated February 4, 2020.

The suspect is now under the custody of Coron PNP for proper disposition and turn over to the court of origin.

Meanwhile, the police chief also warned those who were involved on illegal activities in Coron and the wanted persons that ECQ is not an excuse for the operatives to miss or neglect their other mandates as peacekeepers.
