Biktima ng paputok sa Palawan, 10 na; apat, naitala sa Puerto Princesa

Umabot na sa 10 ang biktima ng paputok dito sa lalawigan ng Palawan batay sa inisyal na ulat ng Provincial Health Office simula noong panahon ng kapaskuhan hanggang sa pagsalubong ng 2019. Ayon kay Provincial Health Officer Dr. Mary Ann Navarro, sa kabuan ay may naitalang anim na biktima ng paputok sa bayan ng Cuyo, tatlo sa bayan ng Magsaysay at isa sa bayan ng Bataraza.

Sinabi pa ni Navarro na ang mga biktima ay may edad anim hanggang tatlumpu’t tatlong taong gulang kung saan karamihan umano sa mga ito ay mga bata at tatlo lamang ang mga adult. Maswerte namang walang naputulan ng kamay at natetanu sa mga biktima habang ang iba naman ay nagtamo ng first and second degree burns. Agad naman umanong nagamot at nakauwi ng kanilang mga bahay ang mga biktima ng paputok.

Samantala, apat na indibidwal ang naputukan ng firecrackers dito sa lunsod ng Puerto Princesa simula Disyembre 21, 2018 hanggang Enero 5, 2019.

Ayon kay City Health Officer Ricardo Panganiban, kabilang sa mga nabiktima ng paputok ay ang dalawang batang may edad na siyam na taong gulang, isang tatlumpu’t-isang taong gulang at isang nag eedad ng dalawamput apat na taong gulang. Naputukan umano ito ng kwitis, piccolo at boga kung saan nagtamo ang mga biktima ng sunog sa katawan.

Kinumpirma rin ni Panganiban na isa sa mga biktima ay naimpeksyon ang sugat.
