Persons Deprived of Liberty or PDL’s inside the Puerto Princesa City Jail started to make their own version of face mask out of clothing materials or fabrics.

According to Jail Officer 1 Filly Erika Argueza, Community Relations Service Officer of City Jail, they just started today, March 18, after having the materials needed.

The face mask will be given for free for those PDL’s who can’t afford it but it is also for sale only on other PDL’s and City Jail personnel.

As of now, only four female PDL’s are helping each other on sewing and making face mask but the City Jail management is hoping that more PDL’s will be interested to join them as the profit will be given directly to them.
