Recognized through its Turismo at Negosyo Dulot ng Ingat Kalikasan (TANDIKAN) and Philippines Business Sector Response to HIV/AIDS (PBSR) Program, Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc (PSFI) Palawan received an Award of Excellence conferred during the 16th Philippine Quill Awards.
TANDIKAN program was acknowledged for Promoting Tourism through Environment Conservation. Winning the Philippine Quill means being recognized as achieving the highest Global Standard for business communication practices.
Receiving the award for TANDIKAN is Underground River Superintendent Elizabeth Maclang together with the PSFI Executives and staff.
“PSFI recognizes the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park(PPSRNP) as an important stakeholder and partner in environmental conservation in Palawan”, Mr. Jeri Abenoja- Research, Information & Communications Officer of PSFI said.
“This award is a testament and recognition of our continuous effort to promote tourism through environmental protection and will continue its mandate to support and empower the progress of Palawan” he said.
The event was held last July 9 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Newport City, Pasay City.
