SK Federation President Myka Magbanua denied text messages accusing her and Anyatika Rodriguez as among the leaders of New People’s Army (NPA) recruiting youth to join its ranks.

In her privilege speech, Magbanua said that it is meant to demolish the voice of the youth not only in Puerto Princesa but Palawan in general.

Magbanua said to the City Council and stated that she and the majority of the youth sector is strongly denying the veracity of the anonymous text message.

She also mentioned that she has an established youth group but said that it does not recruit youth to be terrorists and it is highly regulated by other agencies.
