MBLT-3, RNCHS alumni, conduct 4th wave of ‘Damayan Para sa Kapwa’

Members of the Marine Battalion Landing Team-3 (MBLT-3) of the 3rd Marine Brigade and the graduates of Roxas National Comprehensive High School (RNCHS) Batch 2004 joined hands together for “Damayan Para sa Kapwa” program relief goods distribution.

The said individuals participated in preparing relief goods for the fourth wave of the said Bayanihan program of which benefitted not only the people of the Municipality of Roxas but also the other isolated and vulnerable far-flung communities in adjacent municipalities in northern parts of Palawan.

The groups jointly undertook the preparation of the relief packs amidst the threat posed by COVID-19 just to provide the said items to the recipient families.

The “Damayan Para sa Kapwa,” a localized program of Western Command’s “Kapwa Ko, Sagot Ko” and the “Tulungan si Kapwa” of the Joint Task Force peacock/3rd Marine Brigade, benefitted the less fortunate families of Bgy. Minara in Roxas and the Bgy. Paly Island in the Municipality of Taytay.

“The said programs aim to foster an inter-agency and multi-stakeholders’ engagement approach in the consolidation and delivery of resources and services to support the basic needs of less privileged families who cannot solely sustain the prolonged implementation of the community quarantine, especially during this time of pandemic,” parts of the posted press release of the MBLT-3 on their Facebookpage yesterday, May 11 with the hashtags “Fight as one,” “Win as one,” and “Bayanihan to heal as one,” to name a few.
