Royal Air Philippines opened its route to Puerto Princesa International Airport from Clark International Airport last March 4, and inaugurated its first flight from Puerto Princesa back to Clark.
The airlines will have four-times-a-week flights to Puerto Princesa from Clark and vice versa, Mr. Ed Novilla, Chief Executive Officer of Royal Air Philippines said in an interview.
Royal Air is a new player in the commercial aviation field that offers chartered flights and is now focusing this summer to bring local and foreign tourists to their destinations.
“Royal Air is basically a new player in the commercial field we do normally do charters… right know we are focusing on our commercial operation particularly this summer, so what we wanted to do is to use our airplanes to tourist destinations that’s basically the focus now,” he explained.
He also added in the following months there will be more flights to be opened to bring the passengers to Palawan.
“We are shifting gears now in putting more flights… we are going to launch the second Puerto Princesa Flight from Cebu,” Novilla disclosed.
Novilla also thanked the participation of the Province and City Government together with travel agencies and tourism organization and its team and to work hard to continue bringing best service to the people.
Nagpapasalamt kami ng Governor the city mayor, tourism organization the travel agencies, our commercial team made a lot of visits our operations team also doing their share also the CAAP people are very friendly so we are happy to be here, and we continue to be here as long as we can. Sa competition where just a small airline ko ‘abundance mentality there is plenty for all’ so we gonna work hard to continue to fly to Puerto ,” Novilla said.
Royal Air Philippines is a Philippine-registered air carrier established August 22, to provide domestic and international non-scheduled airline and cargo services between Clark and Macau, and Kalibo and Macau.
