Francis Escudero, kasama sina  Provincial Administrator Atty. Jethro Palayon at Provincial Information Officer Atty. Christian Jay Cojamco.

Nabatid mula sa nagging pahayag ni CHED Commissioner Dr. Libre, “I brought this matter before the CHED Commission En Banc because in the province of Palawan there is no medicine program offering and “Doktor para sa Bayan” is an urgent call to allow our students to really avail this kind of educational intervention. For the record, the Commission En Banc is very supportive in terms of the establishment of the new School of Medicine that will be placed in Palawan.”

Nagagalak namang nagpahayag ang PSU President Dr. Ramon Docto, “To the Provincial Government, malaking tulong ito sapagkat makatutulong tayo sa ating mga estudyante… I have been in different municipalities in Palawan at nakita ko talaga na kulang ang mga doktor kaya noong sinabi ni Gov, ‘with the help of PSU ay magkaroon na tayo ng malaking tulong sa health [sector]’ so thank you very much Gov for supporting us and Palawan State University is very grateful for your help.”
