ONP records third COVID-19 infected medical personnel

The Ospital ng Palawan (ONP) has recorded its third COVID-19 case from among its medical personnel, Dr. Dean Palanca announced Monday.

Dr. Dean Palanca, the Incident Commander for Puerto Princesa Task Force for COVID-19 reported this Monday, June 22, through a live video advisory at the City Information Department (CID) Facebook page.

Dr. Palanca stated that the patient is a female nurse, who while being asymptomatic, was tested positive for COVID-19.

Palanca said this female nurse was immediately extracted from her location and placed in a city’s isolation facility.

Palanca said examinations are continuously being conducted to the ONP medical personnel who came in contact with the personnel tested positive for COVID-19.

Palanca further stated that the families of these individuals are already being coordinated with, under their contact tracing procedures.
