Gorgeous ladies vying for Miss Earth 2019 title are coming to San Vicente, Palawan tomorrow to commence their 3-day full packed activities via SkyJet from Metro Manila, as part of their pre pageant activities.
Spearheaded by Executive Producer Ms. Maruj Avila Encoy and the Local Government Unit of San Vicente headed by Mayor Amy Roa Alvarez, candidates will be having series of community service activities, motorcades, symposia with K-12 students, tree planting, surfing activities, including their fashion show and swimsuit competitions.
“We are holding this international event primarily and rightfully to promote the world-class tourism industry of San Vicente. Having the longest beach in the Philippines, with a 14.7 km stretch of contiguous beach, San Vicente, therefore, deserves world recognition and attention. San Vicentenians are all excited for this international event,” said Ms. Maruj.
Ms. Maruj said that the candidates will also visit one of the scenic spots in San Vicente the newly opened SanVic View Point and people’s favorite stop the Bato ni Ningning, both located in Bgy. Sto. Niño. They will also experience surfing activities in Lazuli beach resort.
Added to that excitement, Ms. Maruj with the full support of Mayor Amy Roa Alvarez has made possible the coming of the famous comedian, Wally Bayola of Eat Bulaga together with Miss Millennial Palawan Miss Princess Jean Lerona to witness the beauty of San Vicente and its tourism development.
“They will be showcasing the local cuisine of the municipality to be held in Port Barton and will be visiting various islands as part of her promotion of the tourism industry of Palawan,” Ms. Maruj added.
There will be meet and greet activities, photos ops, including the MOA signing for Surf Rakes Project between the San Vicente LGU and Coca Cola, which will be witnessed by the candidates, as well.
Candidates will stay in Lazuli Resort in Alimanguan, and will be visiting Long beach, Port barton Beach, Inaladelan Resort, Exotic island, Ursula Resort as part of their activities.

This year’s Miss Earth is the 19th edition of the Miss Earth pageantry. On October 26, 2019, Nguyễn Phương Khánh of Vietnam will crown her successor at the end of the event, which will be presented by James Deakin.
