DILG Provincial Director Virgilio L. Tagle personally awarded the Plaque of Commendation to the Provincial Government of Palawan for obtaining a High Functionality Rating in the 2020 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit.
The Palawan Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) secretariat responsible for Palawan’s anti-illegal drugs program and activities has been consistently passing the Performance Audit Report of the Department of Interior and Local Government since 2017.
PADAC has continuously conducted, Information and Education awareness activities, Paralegal Training, Community Based Rehabilitation Program, Special Drug Education program, Barangay Drug Clearing Program with the support of its partner stakeholders and law enforcement agencies.
Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez personally receive the said plaque. ADAC Performance Audit is an annual program of the DILG with the purpose of enhancing the functionality and effectiveness of Local Anti-Drug Abuse Councils in the fight against illegal drugs.
