PNP launches KASIMBAYANAN for safe and free elections

The Palawan Provincial Police Office on Friday, February 11, launch KASIMABAYANAN (Kawani, Simbahan at Pamayanan) which aims to promote a free, accurate, safe election on May.

KASIMBAYANAN is a joint effort of the Philippine National Police (PNP), together with stakeholders from the Church and the Community which aims to promote camaraderie and commitment for a safe, and peaceful polls on the upcoming national and local elections for 2022.

The launching was graced by BGEN Jimmy Larida, Commander of the 3rd Marine Brigade, Atty. Urbano Arlando, Provincial Election Supervisor, CG COMMODORE Angel Viliran, Commander of Coast Guard Palawan, PMAJ Francisco Hulanio, from Aviation Security Group, Rev. Father Francisco Enano of San Pedro Church, Sheikh Salim Abubakar Nasil. Director of Human Development Foundation Inc, Virgilio Tagle, DILG Provincial Director, Pastor Christopher Magpuyo of Palawan Treasure Baptist Church, Bishop Fortunato “Bobot” Almasco of Acts Family Church, PLTCOL Ricardo Dalmacia, 2nd SOU Commander, Shiela Sison, COMELEC Officer of Puerto Princesa, Pastor Jehu Cayaon of Baptist Church and Board Member Ferdinand “Inan” Zaballa from the Liga ng Mga Barangay sa Palawan.

Through the project, life coaches and barangay officials together with personnel from PNP squad will schedule routine visits in every community to ensure that we will have an orderly poll on May 9 and a possibility of deployment of personnel from the PNP is also part of preparations towards attaining a safe and peaceful election.

PNP pledge its commitment in making sure that all of the resources and assistance that we could use would be extended to their covenant stakeholders to provide intensive security measures through SAFE (Safe, Accurate, Fair, Election).
