Gender equalities is a fundamental principle that advocates for equal rights, opportunities, and treatment for all individuals, regardless of their gender, and should have access to the same resources, opportunities, and rights in all aspects of life, including education, employment, healthcare, politics and social interactions.

In history, women played a crucial role in the military profession as they serve as nurses, cooks and aides. The decision of the Department of Defense which allow women to serve freed them to occupy leadership positions at all levels. These women were accepted within their communities and actively contributed to positive transformation within their units.

Integrating women significantly contributes to gender equality. It empowers themselves and other which their presence influences culture, policies and the overall effectiveness of armed forces.
