140k Palaweños now fully vaxxed

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) has logged an accumulated total of 140,374 fully vaccinated residents in the province of Palawan.

According to PHO data as of November 10, 2021, Balabac has the lowest recorded fully vaccinated residents of only 9% out of 31,431 population followed by Dumaran with 10% out of 18,585 eligible target population and Agutaya with 11% out of 9,822.

Highest logged, on the other hand, is Kalayaan with 98% of its 144 targeted population have gotten their two jabs. This is followed by Linapacan with 46% out of 12,268 and El Nido and Coron at both 42% out of 32,577 and 40,561 respectively.

Busuanga is now at 33% out of 17,263, Cagayancillo and Culion is both at 32% out of 4,922 and 15,769 respectively, San Vicente at 30% out of 23,455, Aborlan at 28% out of 27,476, Cuyo at 25% out of 17,508, Brooke’s Point at 21% out of 51,974, Taytay and Araceli at 18% out of 58,350 and 11,673 repectively, Quezon at 17% out of 45,698, Magsaysay at 16% out of 9,551, and Rizal at 15% out of 39,313.

Bataraza is at 14% out of 59,092 while Narra, Roxas, and Sofronio Española at all 13% out of 57,326, 48,737, 26,191 respectively,

The PHO also recorded 2,805 first doses and 2,545 second doses given.

The provincial government targets 663,746 eligible to get the jab against COVID-19 based on the report of PSA. And so far, they have successfully inoculated 21% or 140,374 while 156,088 are waiting for their second doses.

The island province has received a total of 603,201 vaccines from the national government; 297,716 SinoVac, 55,500 AstraZeneca, 29,450 single-jab Janssen, 4,700 Gamaleya Sputnik, 175,500 Pfizer, and 40,235 Moderna.

Only 296,462 have been utilized noting the significant slow distribution of the vaccine in the fight against covid.

Meanwhile, as of November 9, PESU has noted 5,085 COVID-19 RT-PCR comfirmed cases where 511 are currently active, 4,353 recoveries, and 221 deaths.

And 4,746 Rapid Antigen Test reactive where 763 are currently active, 3,906 recoveries, and 77 deaths.

The PHO calls on those who have yet to get inoculated to visit their office or their respective Municipal Health Offices to access the vaccines.
