In celebration of their 7th anniversary, the 570th Air Base Group (570th ABG) led a special outreach activity for 41 children with disabilities from TAW KABUI for a Child, Inc. on February 17, 2025, at Antonio Bautista Air Base.
With the theme Children’s Day, the children were given joy and care through a guided tour inside the base, fun games, a feeding program, and the distribution of gifts. In addition, free medical and dental check-ups were provided in collaboration with Camp Ricarte Station Hospital to address their health needs.
The successful event was made possible with the support of various organizations, including Camp Ricarte Station Hospital, Camp Ricarte Dental Dispensary, Kiwanis International, Smiles for Everyone Foundation Philippines, Philippine Army Finance Center Producers Integrated Cooperative (PAFCPIC), Air Cavaliers Credit Cooperative (ACCC), Koop King, Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loan Associations, Inc., ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative, Fernando Air Base Savings and Loan Association (FABSLAI), Inc., and Air Materiel Wing Savings and Loan Associations Inc.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for us to share the love and blessings we receive with others,” said Colonel Maria Ghirly A. Solis PAF (GSC), Group Commander of the 570th ABG.
As part of the Tactical Operations Wing West (TOWWEST), the 570th ABG continues to strengthen its presence in the western part of the country. This year’s anniversary theme, “570th ABG @7: Optimizing Capabilities towards Strengthening the 570th ABG’s Impact on the Western Frontier,” reflects their dedication not only to operations but also to serving the community.
For the children from TAW KABUI for a Child, Inc., it was an unforgettable day—filled with joy, love, and new experiences. It serves as proof that even simple acts of kindness can have a lasting impact on the lives of others.
