Fisherman survives crocodile attack

A fisherman in Bgy. Tabud, Bataraza, Palawan escaped a crocodile attack while fishing on a river using a spear gun around 8:00 p.m. on August 18, 2018.

The incident was reported to the local police station after three days. The fisherman, identified as Toto Ibrahim, said he was attacked and bitten by the crocodile on the right side of his back and shoulder.

Luckily, the fisherman got away and managed to shout for help from his fellow fishermmen. The victim was then brought to Rio Tuba Hospital.

He went home after having been given medication.
