Lab For All program touches lives of over 500 Narranians

Over 500 individuals benefited from various free services offered by the Lab for All Program, spearheaded by First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta Marcos and was held yesterday, December 3, at the Narra Gymnasium, Barangay Poblacion, Narra, Palawan.
The medical mission was made possible by the Provincial Government under Governor V. Dennis M. Socrates and Vice Governor Leoncio N. Ola, in collaboration with Congressman Jose Ch. Alvarez of Palawan’s 2nd District, SAGIP Party List, and other agencies, including Lifecore Bio Integrative Inc., Integrated Association of Optometrist Inc.-Palawan Chapter (IPAO), Public Attorneys Office (PAO), Marine Batallion Landing Team 7, Philippine National Police (PNP), and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The program’s goal is to bring free primary healthcare services and other vital government services closer to Filipinos, addressing the fundamental needs of citizens.
Services given included medical consultations, dental care, nutrition services, TB and leprosy screenings, malaria and HIV testing, laboratory tests, pneumonia and flu vaccinations for senior citizens, HPV vaccinations, free eye check-ups and glasses, circumcision, haircuts, legal services, and more.
Similar activities were conducted in Aborlan on December 2, benefiting over 400 individuals, with Brooke’s Point scheduled for today, December 4.
Anticipation surrounds First Lady Marcos’ personal leadership in a similar event set for December 5 at the PGP Convention Center, Capitol Complex, Puerto Princesa, where approximately 1,500 individuals from the city and various municipalities are expected to receive various free government services.
Narra Acting Mayor Marcelino “Jun” Calso Jr. expressed sincere gratitude to First Lady Liza Marcos and the Provincial Government for selecting Narra as a beneficiary, emphasizing the substantial impact it would have on the town.
Also present during the event were Board Members Marivic H. Roxas, Ryan D. Maminta, Ariston D. Arzaga, and Al-Nashier M. Ibba, and Office of the Governor Chief of Staff Ceasar Sammy Magbanua.
