The Robotics Team of Roxas National Comprehensive High School (RNCHS) in Palawan has proudly represented the province and the country in the 7th World Young Investors Exhibition 2023, held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in Malaysia on May 10-12.
Competing against young inventor teams from around the world, the Palawan-based students showcased their technical expertise and creativity in developing their innovative “Automatic Watering System in Vertical Organic Farming,” to address real-world problems in the agriculture sector.
After several rounds of intense competition, the RNCHS Robotics Team was awarded the silver medal in the robotics category. Their winning entry, a robot designed to help farmers in rural areas, impressed the judges with its functionality, practicality, and social impact.
The team’s mentors, headed by Vince Martinez, expressed his pride and gratitude to the students for their hard work and dedication. He also thanked the DepEd Palawan Division, the RNCHS school administration, parents, and supporters for their unwavering support and encouragement.
The RNCHS Robotics Team’s success in the 7th World Young Investors Exhibition 2023 signifies the talent and potential of Palaweño students in the field of robotics and technology.
