Pinaburan ng Court of Appeals (CA) ang pagsipa sa 18 mga opisyal at empleyado ng Palawan Provincial Government matapos na masangkot sa maanumalyang 2.57 Billion pesos Malampaya Fund.
Hindi pinaburan ng 17th Division ng CA ang petisyon ng mga nasangkot
sa nasabing iskandalo matapos silang babaan ng unang hatol noon pang November 21, 2014, kung saan ay nahatulan sila ng dismissed from the service.
Agad naman ipinag-utos ng Office of the Ombudsman ang pagkansela sa kanilang eligibility, at perpetual disqualification from holding public office at hindi na pagbibigay ng exam sa civil service.

Ito ay sa base sa 33 pahinang desisyon na pinermahan ni Associate Justice Mario V. Lopez.
