Narra businessman nabbed for selling drugs

A businessman in Narra, Palawan was arrested by police operatives Friday afternoon, April 24 for allegedly selling drugs.

The suspect was identified as Alfredo Abelarde, 39 and a resident of Barangay Antipuluan of the said town where he was arrested.

Based on the police report, a joint buy-bust operation in illegal drugs was conducted by the Narra police personnel in coordination with PDEA which resulted to the arrest of Abelarde after a poseur-buyer was able to purchase One heat-sealed plastic sachet containing believed to be shabu in exchange for P500.

Also recovered from the suspect were P1,995 cash of different denominations, documents, identification cards, lighter, motorcycle, helmet and one piece unsealed plastic containing five pieces of plastic sachet containing also white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.

A case for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect who is now under the custody of Narra police.
