Atty. Adelina Villena was designated as the acting Executive Director of Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff effective January 13, 2020.
The appointment is the decision of the council under Resolution no.20-695 and was officially announced on January 13, 2020 on the PCSD website.
Villena was given full powers as Executive Director that covers authority on personnel, financial, logistical and other operational matters of the PCSD Staff.

PCSD Spokesperson Jovic Fabello told Palawan Daily News that Acting Director Villena assured the whole PCSD staff to implement the plans and programs of the office set for 2020 because it’s already been approved and budgeted.
“Basically ang dream ng PCSD ngayon ay more on stakeholder’s participation, tapos partnership on the ground, and of course kung anu po yung mga dapat nating gawin para ma-ensure yung residency ng ating environment,” Fabello said.
Villena is with PCSD since 1981, which was known that time as Palawan Integrated Area Development Project (PIADP). She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Agribusiness from Aquinas University of Legazpi City. He assumed the position of PCSD Deputy Director in 2016.
She already took her oath as Acting Director last Monday, January 13 at the Legend Hotel Palawan that was administered by PCSD Chairman and Palawan Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez.
“As for now, nagta -transition pa kasi, parang ang ginagawa ni Acting Director is inaayos pa nya yung set up from organizational to gagawing future plans ng PCSD,” Fabello added.
