After more than a year of recovering from COVID-19, Palawena beauty Queen Anthea Robles is now in full swing in managing her own business in the United States of America – the Felix Restaurant in New York City which is a famous location of many Hollywood films in the past.
She fully recovered and even donated plasma after getting hit by the virus.
“Yes, I had my first symptoms on March 22, 2020, when NY was the epicenter,” Robles said.
And this year, the former Bb. Pilipinas International 1988 started a new venture by offering one of Pinoys’ famous snack, the Bibingka (rice cake) and she calls it “Bb.Bibingka NYC” presented with different flavors such as Salted Egg and Cheese, Ube Macapuno and Banana-Langka and Buko.
According to Robles, she makes sure she used only fresh ingredients to make it winning in taste and form. It was only offered to some friends at first and later on, she was encouraged to market and sell it regularly.
The first Binibini titleholder of Palawan looks forward also in offering Bb. Bibingka NYC with Palawan flavors, that part is being developed by now.
“I’m developing different flavors for my Bibingka, next will be peach mango inspired ako ng Jollibee peach mango tart,” Robles added.
