One of the recommended islands that beach lovers and tourists recently noticed and visited is Sidanao Island, Quezon, Palawan. This gorgeous island is situated nearby to Nakoda island and northwest of Lipuun Point Reservation where the Tabon caves complex is located a tourism site for its natural and cultural heritage.

Some on the lists are for beach lovers, backpackers, and those who love back to nature and commune with nature activities.  You will surely enjoy Sidanao beach resort and here’s some of the pick: swimming at a white sand beach, fishing, watching a sunset, stargazing, having a bonfire but need to ask permission from the resort owner, camping, caving, hiking, and climbing at the various rock formation, hiking a local trail, paddle boating, and kayaking, hammocking, read a new book, grill outside, enjoy their newly built cottages with overnight accommodation, island hopping with a sand bar, snorkeling, and be a community volunteer at the island with seaweed farming activity with the locals’ livelihood activity, and caving at Tabon caves complex.  At night you will get amazed by the fishermen’s activity as they surround the island with their boats and lights on to harvest and catch lobster seedlings that will be sold to the town in the morning.

To maintain the cleanliness of the island guests were advised to be mindful of using plastic food packaging materials and do not leave their trash on the island. You can also enjoy the catch of the day of fishermen that they sell to visitors.

To be considerate to other marine animals such as sea turtle “pawikan”, sea cow, corals, etc were highly called on of resort owner and caretaker to all visitors to do not disturb.  You can explore the island with a guide and don’t bring anything from the island when you departed but only your great memories and photos with your friends and family during your stay at Sidanao. Enjoy your summer folks!
