Glamping on Nacpan Beach with noble purpose

Escape the ‘dust, smog, stress and fatigue of the city’

Camping in style or ‘Glamping’ has gained popularity in the past few years, and it is here to stay. What more at one of the “29 of the dreamiest beaches on earth” chosen by the UK’s The Telegraph?

El Nido is in the northern part of Palawan. It is well-known for its breathtaking beaches, pristine islands, and limestone cliffs, which have garnered thousands of tourists yearly.

But just about 45 minutes or 22 km from the town is one of the emerging hotspots in El Nido. In Nacpan Beach, you will find more than 4km of white sand and other beaches.

Now, imagine combining these nature’s amazing creations with glamping to escape the ‘dust, smog, stress and fatigue of the city’ and supporting the turtle hatchlings every year at the same time? Nacpan Beach Glamping offers just that.

The one-hectare property has nine glamping tents surrounded by at least 300 palm trees and 3,000 shrubs.

The tents, which can accommodate up to four people, are described as like ‘traditional Mongolian yurts’ but are much bigger and more sophisticated bringing vacation and camping to the next level.

Guests are free to choose to keep the tents open as it is fitted with zipped mesh and PVC windows to allow the salty air to enter or use the air-conditioner built inside the tents.

The tents are also equipped with two high-quality queen-sized beds, two pouffes, a small table, one comfortable designer seat, a Japanese paper pendant light, bedside lamps, fridge freezers, and four electric fans.

There is also a wash area outside each tent to ensure you can wash the sand off your feet.

There are eight toilet and shower blocks in various parts of the campsite, which two to three tents share. You can access this by following different footpaths that are well-lit at night.

Guests have the option of a beachfront or a mountain view, but either way is only a short walk to the shore.

The glamping site also offers sunset sailing, private sailing, and romantic dinners upon request.

They also have free activities for all their guests including traditional origami using coconut leaves, exploring the site’s humungous garden, or island-hopping tours and adventures.

If you’re worried that it is a bit far from the town, you can grab a bite from a restaurant next door, Nacpan Sunmai Restaurant. They serve locally sourced ingredients for their International and Filipino food that you can enjoy with their great views.

By being a guest at the Nacpan Beach Glamping, you are already supporting the turtle hatchlings program.

The Nacpan Beach is big on protecting these amazing little creatures and, with the help of a turtle conservationist, they trained and educated residents on the importance of advocating for this species.

Nacpan Beach Glamping, besides taking part in protecting turtles, are also environmentally conscious.

They ensure that water and waste output is clean and harmless to the environment. And also have conservation projects such as self-sufficient farming and even educating younger people on the environment.
