Puerto Princesa City will welcome its newest coffee destination as Starbucks prepares for a soft opening on October 15.

Jeanny R. Owen, Executive Assistant to the Chairman of Rustan Coffee Corporation, paid a courtesy call on Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron on Monday to provide updates on the upcoming branch.

Owen shared that the majority of newly hired staff are local residents, while experienced Starbucks employees from other parts of Palawan have returned to train the new team.

Mayor Bayron welcomed the development, noting that the new branch represents a boost to the city’s local economy and signals Puerto Princesa’s growing appeal to investors.

Starbucks Puerto Princesa is expected to officially open its doors to the public starting October 15.
