No effort is too big or too small to help those that are greatly challenged by this pandemic. Palaweña singer and songwriter Sanilyn Gianan took it upon herself to celebrate her birthday by holding an online benefit concert, this aims to fund the production of face masks that will be given free to frontliners, checkpoint personnel, barangay health workers, volunteers and to the rest of those that needs it in the city of Puerto Princesa.
The online concert dubbed “Mga Oyayi Ni Prinsesa” will happen on May 3, Sunday. OPM singer Rannie Raymundo and select artists of Madhouse Collective will serve as Gianan’s guest performers at the show and will start at 7:00 to 8:30 in the evening airing live at Madhouse Facebook page.

Gianan is an alumna of UP Tinig Amianan and a former stage actress of Dulaang UP-Baguio and active member of Singles for Christ Palawan. She started composing songs at the age of 10, and was a grand winner of 2007 Awitan Sa Palawan Environmental Songwriting contest. She also founded the Palawan Music Artists Guild.
Aside from the concert, Gianan will also conduct songwriting workshop online on the said date that will start at 3 in the afternoon.
Earlier this year, her song entitled “Stranger” was covered and recorded by Raymundo, they also did a duet for the song “Hep, Hep, Hep”.
