TOG7 Safety Measures on COVID-19 Pandemic

Safety is the primordial behavioral instinct that every person should have especially in accomplishing the mandated missions and performing assigned tasks. The “Mission First, Safety Always” is technically crucial. Still, logically it is where the Tactical Operations Group 7 (TOG7) desires the most to achieve 100% in personnel, operational, training, equipment, and facility readiness. This Group endeavor is to relish life, and property, and serve while living on the edge of gravity.

It’s been three years since the Pandemic changed the way we live and the lifestyle we have. This era is best described as an environmentally conscious age, where every deed acted by humans in terms of development, the effect is being weighed in relation to our environment. Consequently, this has prompted a substantial number of environmental, health, and even public regulations that are being endorsed to hold business organizations, which puts the economy at its lowest point. People get more accountable for their own responsibilities. These policies tend to focus on tackling such problems from the source of the said virus, with the help and knowledge of numerous experts. These also raise how certain insignificant decisions taken by an individual can have a detrimental effect on their family, community, and environment as a whole.

COVID-19 transforms the PAF world of work from a very convenient one and turns into an exhausted, scary, creepy, and nostalgic one in a blink of an eye. The best practices like; social distancing, a minimum of 50% capacity in every venue, disinfection of offices before and after office hours, using of foot baths, installation of portable lavatory intended for hand washing, detailed COVID Marshalls, filling out the health declaration health, undergoing antigen/swab test before flights both arrival and departure of personnel, ongoing for days quarantine, achieving 100% of personnel who already have vaccines and boosters, declaration of total lockdown of ABAB, and the adaptation of three -group working scheme namely: On duty, Quarantined, and Work-From-Home status. Through these practices, the TOG-7 minimizes and controls the spread of COVID-19 and maintains the good health standard of its personnel in the accomplishment of the TOG7 Mission.
