Two individuals were confirmed dead in the aftermath of Tropical Depression Crising, as the Palawan Provincial Emergency Operations Center (EOC) reverted to normal operations under White Alert Status at 6:00 p.m. on July 20, 2025.
According to the final situational summary issued by the Provincial EOC, the storm affected a total of 6,770 families or 28,197 individuals across at least 14 municipalities, including Aborlan, Culion, Narra, Roxas, Taytay, San Vicente, Dumaran, El Nido, Busuanga, Cagayancillo, Española, Brooke’s Point, and Quezon.
The two fatalities were reported in San Vicente and Aborlan, respectively. No further details about the circumstances of their deaths were immediately disclosed in the official report.
Damage assessments showed 14 homes partially damaged and 6 totally destroyed. As of the latest count, 1,757 families remain housed in government-designated evacuation centers, while another 2,473 families opted to shelter in place despite the impact of the storm.
Sea travel remains suspended in several ports across the province as a safety precaution due to residual rough sea conditions and unsettled weather.
While weather conditions have improved, local authorities remain on high alert for any after-effects and are continuing ground assessments and relief operations for displaced residents.
