A Palaweño belter hauled off four medals and one plaque in the 22nd Annual World Championships of Performing Arts at Long Beach, California, USA that ended Sunday, July 15.
Arjay Sebua Espartero hailed as the 2018 Champion of the World Division Winner, plus getting medals on different categories, such Country – Gold, Contemporary – Silver, Latin – Silver, and Formal Modelling- Bronze.
There were 63 countries around the world who competed. Arjay was among the 87 delegates from the Philippines.
Arjay is a native of Narra, Palawan, and he showcased his talents on singing, dancing, modeling, instruments, acting and variety arts.
He passed the auditions last September 17, 2017 and made the way to the WCOPA that was held from July 6 to 15.
Arjay is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Management at the Palawan State University and is working as a bank assurance sales officer at Sun Life Grepa Financial Inc.
